Extension and Outreach activities

            To inculcate leadership qualities with social concern the institution has extension support services through its two NSS units and Youth Red Cross. The institution has conducted good number of extension activities at the neighbouring villages, over the years. Some of the activities impacted at the neighbouting villages are Shramadaan, Health Awareness, Awareness on prevention of suicidal tendency, literacy programmes for making optimal use of government schemes and etc.

            The NSS units conducted special camps every year in the neighbouring villages of Chitradurga by its volunteers of the institution for the promotion of unity in diversity. These units organised programmes to strenthen the unity and integrity of India. The NSS volunteers create awareness among the people with regard to many social issues which have inpacted the lives of people in the community and it develops social and cultural values among our students. Inaddition, various departments of the institution have undertaken outreach programmes to promote culturual harmony and tolerance.
